Chocolate Chip Pancake Bake with syrup

chocolate chip pancake bake

 INGREDIENTS


  • 2 cups Kodiak Cakes Chocolate Chip Flapjack mix 
  • 1-1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce (or 2 overripe mashed bananas)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon 
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract 
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 35 chocolate chips (I used Lily's semi-sweet for the points/calories)


INSTRUCTIONS


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray a 13x9 pan with olive oil spray
  3. Mix everything but chocolate chips in a bowl.
  4. Pour batter into a prepared pan.
  5. Top with additional cinnamon (optional).
  6. Bake in 350-degree oven for about 25 minutes.
  7. Top with chocolate chips and bake another 5 minutes.
  8. Let cool before serving.
  9. Cut into 6 squares.
  10. Top with 1/4 cup sugar-free syrup (0 points)  (optional)
